About Fix My Pages
Code Quality Control Guarantee
My approach to Quality Control is along the lines of Demming's 14 Points. I build the quality into the product from the start. Quality is never ' One of my guiding principles is to write code that lasts and is low maintenance. The key to doing this is to make sure code meets accepted standards. This makes the code work with today's latest, greatest browsers and tomorrow's web page readers. In the not too distant future, we will have a gizmo in our car that will read web pages to us as we drive to work. Pages that conform to standards have a much better chance of working with these yet to be developed devices than pages riddled with syntactical errors. Unlike programming in more traditional languages, such as C++ or Visual Basic, web programming, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, does not have to pass the scrutiny of a compiler. You can make a web page full of syntactical errors, but you cannot do the same in C++. From the get go, browsers ignored improper syntax and did their best guessing at the intent of the writer. The result is a world wide web filled with bad HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You can check sites yourself at the sites listed below. Correct syntax means your pages have a much greater chance of displaying properly on any combination of browser and operating system - even ones built tomorrow. Accessibility for everyone is enhanced.
